Alaska Wilderness Lodges: Fly-in Packages

In our travels throughout Alaska we have experienced many Alaska wilderness lodges, and we are proud to say that the Alaska wilderness lodges we have partnered with are absolutely first class.  They are also just a short and scenic float plane trip away from Anchorage.

Each of the Alaska wilderness lodges listed below is a destination within itself, providing amazing opportunities for world-class Alaska fly in fishing, incredible Alaska wilderness experiences, unparalleled Alaska bear viewingopportunities, amazing cuisine and comfy accommodations.

Fly with Rust's to Alaska Wilderness Lodges

Redoubt Bay Lodge is located at the entrance to Lake Clark Pass.  This intimate, hand-hewn rustic Alaska lodge sits on a small knoll overlooking Big River Lakes, a chain of lakes whose waters lead to the Big River and on to Cook Inlet. It is the only Alaska wilderness lodge within a 171,000-acre critical habitat area, which has one of the densest black and brown bear populations in Alaska.

Fly in FishingNestled amongst cottonwood, birch and spruce trees, under the distant gaze of majestic mountains, Riversong Lodge has been named one of “25 best lodges in America” by Travel and Leisure magazine.  Although the initial appeal may be to fish Lake Creek, a famous Alaska salmon fishing river, guests are quickly wowed by the lodge, the scenery, and the abundant wildlife in this spectacular valley.

Winterlake Lodge offers seclusion, relaxation, luxury and spectacular scenery.  Located along Alaska's historic Iditarod Trial, 200 trail miles northwest of Anchorage, this Alaska wilderness lodge features a health center with wood fired hot tub, amazing cuisine prepared by chef/co-owner Kirsten Dixon, culinary classes and many “Within the Wild” Alaska adventures. Among the many activities available at the lodge, co-owner Carl Dixon leads hikes or skiing (depending on the season) in this scenic area as well as introducing you to the history of the area.  The Dixons keep the lodge open year round, with the opportunities to see the real Alaska changing throughout the year.  Visit this fabulous lodge for an unique insight into Alaska.
